Have you ever sat back and thought about how you really were tied into all of this Spiritual Warfare stuff and what that actually means to you?

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.    Genesis 1:1                                  Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.   Genesis 2:1        For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of the wickedness in the heavenly places.    Ephesians 6:12

I ask you to look at these three scriptures above because what I am going to explain today is regarding that there are demons and spiritual hosts of wickedness that are real and alive in our world today.  I do not want you to think that the devil and his demons are not real and are not operating in this world to kill, steal and destroy you.  Lucifer (Satan/devil) comes as an angel of light in 2 Corinthians 11:14  it says for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.   And Paul warns us in Galatians 1:8  But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.   What Paul is referring to here is those that come as an angel of light, and Paul even knew where they came from, in the heavens where there are spiritual hosts. (see above scripture again!)

There are reasons why today the enemy in this world has blinded us and kept us from trying to know the truth, if Satan himself can deceive you to believe that he is not real and that there is not a spiritual realm where there is a battle going on… he can safely and without harm, work among the sons of man and deceive us and keep us blind as he did to Eve in the garden.  And Eve, in turn, handed the lie over to Adam and Adam partook of this lie and began a seed in our world of the Father of lies as it states in Gods word in John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Know that in this scripture it states “he was a murderer from the beginning”  many would think this has to do with Cain and Able, but let me remind you of a scripture in Genesis  2:17  “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”  Now please recall that Adam and Eve were not killed by which their lives were ended, however, God did not allow them to stay in the Garden of Eden where Gods glory dwelt.  Instead, they were separated from God and His Holy Spirit.  Satan knew that if they were to eat of this tree they would surely die and be separated from the Spirit of God, and he deceived them to eat of their own death, which makes him a murderer from the beginning of time.  “Adam and Eve did not die in the flesh, but in the unity of  Spirit and became flesh apart from God” and it was not until Jesus Christ died on the cross and gave us back our inheritance through His blood that we have life again and be reunited with the Holy Spirit of God.  Satan stole and murdered in us this inheritance that God created in us from the beginning in the garden of Eden, just like he tried to do to Jesus Christ of Nazareth when he was born using King Herod, in killing all male children 2 and under, by trying to kill the seed of God which holds the inherited promises of God.  It was at this point when we died in the garden of Eden that we lost our inheritance from God because Satan murdered that within us, through a seed of lies.

What I am wanting you to understand is that we were created “in” the Kingdom of God in the beginning, and an enemy came into our kingdom and stole our rightful place in the throne room of God and had stolen us away from our Kingdom and placed us in a land of death and slavery.  But what the enemy does not want us to realize is that the battle has already taken place to redeem the inheritance of the children of God.  But Satan wants us to think that the battle has not taken place and will only take place at the end of times, thus so many people get confused about this in scriptures and live life in slavery and bondage.  But know that the battle for our inheritance has already taken place, and our victory belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ who has won the battle over sin and death.           1 Corinthians 15:55  “O Death, where is your sting?  O Hades, where is your victory?”  Romans 8:3 says For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh (that’s us), God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

I am going to try to make this simple and short and I do apologize in advance if the scriptures make it harder to read, but it’s important that the truth of the word of God be added to this: In the beginning, we were created of one Spirit, and that one Spirit is of God and we dwelled with God in the garden and walked with Him in this world (Gen 1: 26, 3:8).  Then the enemy came and stole this life from us and caused us to now be in slavery to sin and death (Heb 2:14) which is satans dwelling place (Rev 2:13), not Gods.  God loves us so much that He wanted us back because His original plan for creating us was to be loved by Him (John 3:16), and now we were separated from Him (Isaiah 59:2).  But God wanted us back, His own special, chosen people whom He created (1 Peter 2:9), so He sent out a promise of inheritance once again (Gen 17), but this time it would be through the flesh itself (John 1:14) therefore not only gaining back his children (1 John 3:1) but also allowing his children to have all power and dominion over the enemy (Luke 10:19, Eph 1:21) Now God had sealed His children with a seal of certificate (2 Cor 1:22) and the enemy cannot snatch them out of His hand anymore (John 10:28).   The battle has been won my friends, and the enemy has no more dominion or legal rights to mess with us or torment us or to keep us in slavery any longer.

Now everything I just said is why the enemy does not want you to know your true inheritance, because if you did and you truly walked out in your inheritance of having all dominion and power over every power of the enemy, you would be fully set free from Satan’s bondage and slavery.   Satan works overtime to ensure you don’t know your true power and dominion over him and his demons, as mentioned above he is the father of lies and has been lying to you since you were a child, planting lies in you that you may, as an adult, believe are just a part of you or just who you are.  And until you know your true inheritance in the Lord, you will believe these lies and stay in bondage and in slavery to Satan, even while serving and loving the Lord.

See satan does not really care that we serve the Lord, go to church, sing praises to the Lord in church or read a little bit of our bible here and there and try to walk the narrow path. This is not what bothers him the most because he knows that people like this are lukewarm and have no knowledge of their inheritance and are not grounded in the word of God to “learn of their inheritance” from God… no this doesn’t bother him as much as those children of God who know their inheritance in the Lord and use it daily as a weapon against the enemy.  Those children who know how to pray into the Kingdom of God and pray down the power of God to fight their battles for them, those that are so deeply rooted in the word of God that every lie the enemy could ever try to throw at you does not penetrate you at all because you know your word and you stand on the truth of Gods word, you are not tossed too and fro (Eph 4:14), but you are deeply rooted and a firm foundation cannot be easily shaken. (Matthew 7:24-27)

This my dear sisters is what the enemy is scared of you learning and operating in, and this is exactly what I will be talking about.  It is in knowing your inheritance and using it that we begin walking out our freedom in this world, that same freedom that Christ Jesus had paid so much for us to have and live in!
